8 Questions to Ask

As you get ready to begin your Bible study, find a quiet and comfortable space. Begin your study with prayer, centering yourself with God and preparing to explore Scripture.

Before diving into Scripture, spend at least 5-10 minutes writing down how you are feeling today. Then, read the Scripture in the Bible slowly and attentively, allowing the words to sink in. Next, use the "Questions to Ask" guide to reflect and answer the prompts. When you are done answering the prompts, come back to this page and answer the question, "What is my takeaway?" Conclude your study session with prayer, thanking God for guidance and asking for wisdom to apply what you've learned in your daily life.
